At the end of 2020, I spent some time reflecting on my business and the people we help through the advice process.
It had been a tough year and many people had put life on hold to see how the pandemic played out. Terribly, as it turns out! During this time I started thinking about a question that I so often get: “What do you actually do?”
I realised it was clearly time to address this question and as a result Wealth Activism was born.
The philosophy of Wealth Activism describes the approach I have always taken – open and honest conversations around money mindset, asset management and planning for the transfer of wealth across generations.
In July 2021, we launched our new website designed to help people understand how they could activate their wealth and the response has been simply mind blowing. People have been able to see that financial advice is not just for the “ultra” rich or for those heading into retirement. It’s for everyone who wants to sleep better at night knowing their financial future has a level of certainty to it. Through our structured conversations we have been able to create a financial strategy for people that gives choice and opportunity to live the life they want.
The feedback we receive from so many people is about how great progress feels – actually putting plans in place gives peace of mind and the comfort that another year won’t pass by where things remain unchanged.
It’s been an exciting year for all of us at Paxton Bridge and certainly very rewarding when we see the positive impact we have had on the people we help.
Thank you to everyone who has embarked on their Wealth Activism journey so far – we can’t wait to see what’s next for you! For those that are still deciding on whether our approach is right for them, book a Zoom or phone call with me so that we can talk through how you can activate your wealth.
It’s not easy taking the first step, but nothing changes if you don’t. Your initial Zoom or phone call is obligation-free and allows you to get a feel for what Wealth Activism is all about.
